On December 18th, we're hosting a virtual screening of Max Richter's magnificent film, SLEEP in partnership with Commune Cinema. Richter composed an eight-hour piece of music, which is played to a sleeping audience in juxtaposition to our increasingly busy lives.

SLEEP, Richter's eight-hour opus was played live at an open-air concert in Los Angeles, curated by his creative partner, artist and BAFTA winning filmmaker Yulia Mahr. Emmy-nominated director Natalie Johns weaves in Mahr’s personal archive and performance footage from Berlin, Sydney, and Paris to create a rich portrait of a shared artistic process, along with contributions that illuminate both the science and story behind the work.

The 99 minute-long film will be available to access for 48 hours from 19:00 GMT on 18th December 2020 and is restricted to UK audiences only. To watch the film:

- Reserve your ticket on eventbrite

- If you preregisterd, you'll have received your ticket code via email by 5pm on Friday. If registering late, hang tight... it's on its way to you!

- Create an account on DogWoof's On Demand service - it takes less than 2 mins.

- Once logged in, select 'Rent SLEEP', and input your code where it says 'I have a promo code'.
