Following a hugely successful 2018 which saw the annual one dayer sell out, Festifeel returns for the tenth time this October. This year is extra special as it's also the ten year anniversary of the charity itself. Festifeel 2019 will take place on Saturday October 12th and will be hosted by presenter and broadcaster Angela Scanlon.
Festifeel will play host to a sublime selection of live bands, DJs and live comedy. Live music has once again been curated by Coppafeel's patron, Fearne Cotton, and includes acoustic performance from Bombay Bicycle Club and James Bay and full live performances from Feeder, Tom Grennan, Gabrielle Aplin and RAYE.
This year's comedy stage has been curated by Jayde Adams and includes sets from Sara Pascoe, Dane Baptiste, Sarah Keyworth, Rosie Jones, Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Sarah Callaghan, Harriet Dyer and Joe Sutherland.
Fearne Cotton says; "We're so excited to be celebrating ten wonderful years of Festifeel this October. It's such a pleasure curating this festival and it's definitely one of my favourite days of the year; great music, good vibes and most importantly, loads of incredible lifesaving book awareness. I can't wait to once again bring together so many great artists for a cause I truly love."
The event is held by breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel with was founded in October 2009 by Kristin Hallenga, who herself was diagnosed with breast cancer at 23. The charity educates young people on the importance of checking their boobs regularly and knowing the signs and symptoms of breast cancer. coppaFeel aim to deliver their message in innovative and memorable ways.
