Calling all female shredders out there, the raddest Girls Skate Night in town is back at House of Vans on Thursday 26th of September.
Join us for our all-girl get together and come hit our bowl and street area from 18:00 where two House of Vans tutors will be at hand to teach you the tricks of the trade; so if you're a beginner, fear not!
This month we're hosting a screening of Kamali.
Seven year old Kamali is the only girl skateboarder in a small fishing village in India where, by chance, a skate ramp happened to be built right outside her house. Kamali's timorous mother, Suganthi, gives in to a burning desire to escape her past and decides to take a pilgrimage in a quest for self-discovery. As mother and daughter are separated for the first time, they must find their freedom as they dare to step outside into a man's world.
If you need to reconcile with the universe, Hannah Staunton will be hosting her free yoga sessions, and DJs spinning the decks while you get to enjoy cocktails on the house all night, courtesy of our in-house cafe The Wall SE1.
Girl skating will be on all night until close - drink responsibly!
*Yoga mats are provided on a first come first served basis. All ages and abilities welcome.
