House of Vans proudly presents Sessions - a series of intimate gigs by up and coming bands from the UK and beyond. On the 17th of October, we're stoked to bring to our Tunnel 2 stage a four-band bill with The Bloom, Orchards, Private Life, Evawolf.
Grab a drink from our bar and enjoy the show!
About The Bloom:
Fronted by Australian singer songwriter Luke Kordyl, The Bloom are all about catchy upbeat rythms and chorus that get stuck in your head for days. Following their self-promoted, debut single 'How It Starts', that received over 130,000 plays on Spotify, The Bloom are about to release their follow up single called Always on October 12th.
About Orchards:
Combining left-field experimentation with startingly prescient pop sensibilities, Brighton's alt-pop quartet Orchards are following the footsteps of luminaries Everything Everything and Foals. The steady release of stand-out singles 'Peggy', 'Darling' and 'Honey' (all featuring on their 2018 Debut EP Losers/Lovers) has won them critical praise by the likes of CLASH, DIY and Wonderland to name a few.
About Private Life:
Formed in 2017 by frontman Gus Cox, Private Life are a British electro infused rock band from North London. They come armed with bright chorus/reverb soaked guitars, live drums and percussion, big multi part harmonies and a small army of analogue synth and groove machines.
About Evawolf:
Hailing from East London and citing influences from the likes of Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver and Smashing Pumpkins, Eva Wolf seamlessly merges a catchy and haunting new blen of atmospheric folk rock.
