This September, House of Vans is proud to welcome back Talking Peace Festival & Conflict Café for a two-week residency. Marking their 30th Anniversary in 2016, the peace-building charity behind revolutionary kitchen concept

International Alert, are once again ready to celebrate the food and culture of countries affected by conflict by introducing them to the ever-growing network of London foodies and showcasing the power of food to bring people together and break down barriers. This year's countries of choice, represented by a stellar line up of guest cooks, will be Sri Lanka & Lebanon. The festival will also bring to Waterloo Tunnels
Create Syria - a multimedia exhibition exploring Syrian art in times of crisis, a
minifilm festival and a photographic retrospective chronicling
International Alert's 30 years of peace-building. And it’s all served up in time for
UN International Peace Day on the 21st September!
